Based on published information, it is reported that from 1956 to 1991, Compania Minera Huampar S.A., produced about 25,000 ounces of gold and about 15 million ounces of silver! The gold and silver is in the ground and is waiting for BKTK to dig it up!

 

BKTK also has the Nueva Condor mine, surrounding properties around Altochocha, which is an 8067 hectare concession located in the central polymetallic mineral belt, an area with a long history of successful gold production. The area is well known for its numerous gold and base metal deposits and mining in the area dates back to the early colonial days, when the Spaniards mined the small polymetallic veins in the area.

 

The Nueva Condor mine, encompasses a high-grade gold, silver, zinc and lead deposit which was the one that produced for 35 years. The gold veins at Nueva Condor were mined by Compania Minera Huampar S.A. from 1956 to 1991, when the mine was closed because terrorists (long eradicated by the strong Peruvian Government) shut down a major power generating station which supplied power to the mine. But, during that period it is reported that some 2.5 million tons of ore was mined at an average grade of 1.6 g/t Au.

 

If you do the math, that works out to 4 million grams of gold, which (with 28.3495 grams equaling 1 ounce) works out to 139,862 ounces of gold, worth on today’s market (gold at about $1,115 an ounce) to about $155.3 million worth of gold!

 

Furthermore, when the mine was shut down, gold was trading at only $320 an ounce! That means, based on a recent price of $1,115 an ounce, the value of the gold remaining in the Nueva Condor mine has increased in value by about 250%!

 

BKTK also already has an infrastructure to process 450 tons per day! This is a NO BRAINER!
