Hello again, it's been so long since we last spoke. Absence makes the heart grow fonder <3
Just kidding, I just got done sending my wrap up of today's results and I've already got a great new play for you in my favorite sector...green energy!
You guys who have been with me for a little while are well aware of my fondness of the green energy sector, especially lithium. It's my number one favorite sector right now, and has been for quite a while.
We've made really good money on almost all of my lithium alerts. They're usually not just one day wonders, most of my lithium plays have been mid-priced and have made gains in the multi-day or multi-week term...so they're really good for all different kinds of traders.
Today's alert is on FLPC - First Liberty Power. Another power company, like TGMP (American Power Corp), with a great patriotic name. TGMP has done right by us and made gains every day since my alert, let's keep our fingers crossed that FLPC does the same.
Since FLPC is less than half the price of TGMP, it should be able to make faster and bigger profits for us.
FLPC's chart looks great, they've just broken above their 20 day moving average so it LOOKS like they're set to make immediate gains. Obviously I never know that for sure, but they definitely look hot.
Here is the cut and paste about what they do:
First Liberty Power Corp. is a Nevada based mineral exploration company with a
primary focus on lithium and vanadium exploration and development in the United
States. The Company is positioned to capitalize on the anticipated increase in
demand for both lithium carbonate and vanadium that is projected to result from
the adoption and use of clean renewable energy that will fuel demand for
products that utilize lithium-ion batteries and vanadium redox batteries.
Just like the end of an M. Night Shamalalalmamlamalman movie, there is a twist to this lithium exploration company. They're not just focused on lithium, they're also focused on a much lesser known mineral called...vanadium.
In high school and jr. high I used to like this girl with the last name Van de Ven. Oh my god...she was so hot. Sadly I was a nerd and never stood a chance. I still am, but at least I'm a RICH nerd now. Hahaha, take that, anyone who was more popular than me! No actually I was cool by late in high school, but I still never stood a chance </3 That's a broken heart...in case you don't know.
Van de Ven...vanadium...Van de ven...vanadium.
Back to the point...there are a lot of lithium companies, and truth be told I like most of them just because I like that particular sector so much. The reason I like FLPC over and above most other lithium exploration companies, is because I believe vanadium is going to be extremely in demand soon and there really aren't THAT many companies, at least as far as I know...that are exploring for vanadium.
We all know lithium has been one of Wall Street's hottest sectors. Hybrid cars are all the rage now, and they mostly use lithium-ion batteries. Government pressure, as well as social pressure from those who are environmentally conscious, has fueled extremely rapid growth in the demand for lithium.
Now venturing into a brave new world, ahead of the crowd may I add...VANADIUM!!!
Here is some info I found on vanadium:
Vanadium is a strategic metal that is already irreplaceable for engineering
in aerospace, aviation, automotive, shipping and construction. This is because
vanadium has a remarkable ability to make steel alloys both stronger and
lighter. In fact, vanadium-titanium alloys have the best strength-to-weight
ratio of any engineered material. These ultra high-strength and super-light
steels are often called the plastics of the 21st century, and demand for them is strong and
growing.
Did you hear that? Vanadium-titanium alloys have the best strength-to-weight ratio of ANY engineered material. Obviously with a qualification like that, the material should be very much in demand.
What's even more appealing about Vanadium is that it is poised to be a vital
part of the energy storage
solution that will allow solar, wind and other renewable energy sources to succeed
on a large scale. This is because vanadium makes highly powerful and efficient
batteries — both in a stand-alone capacity for large power grid usage and as an
additive in small-scale battery applications.
Obama wants clean energy, the U.S. wants clean energy, the world wants the U.S. to have clean energy so we can stop polluting it...and Vanadium seems to offer the potential to help us get there.
The Vanadium-Redox Flow Battery (VRFB), invented at the University of New South Wales in Australia, is structurally and
chemically different from any other battery in ways that could help overcome
current shortcomings in battery technologies. VRFBs are nontoxic, have a
lifespan that can be measured in decades, and do not self-discharge while idle
or generate high amounts of heat while charging.
The VRFB has a humongous advantage over most other types of batteries: It
can absorb and release huge amounts of electricity instantly and do so over and
over again, making it the only battery technology today capable of connecting
directly to power grids and
smoothing out the unpredictable flow of energy from wind turbines and solar cells without any energy
capacity limitations.
Vanadium has also proven to be an effective
additive to existing batteries on a smaller scale. For instance, in the
case of electric cars, vanadium, when
combined with lithium, acts as a ‘supercharger’ that increases the battery’s energy density — and in the case of
vehicles, this equates to the distance a car can travel.
Check THIS out...
Subaru’s recently revealed G4e concept car uses a vanadium- lithium
battery, which dramatically extends the travel distance from 40 kilometers to
200 km on a single charge. That's FIVE times the traveling distance, just by adding vanadium to the mix.
The fact of the matter is that as the world continues to move away from
oil and gas, batteries hold the key to making alternative energies the new source
for power. Our technology is right on the verge of being able to accomplish the nation's energy goals...and materials like lithium and vanadium will likely be key aspects to us reaching the goals.
Until humans are used for batteries, like in The Matrix...lithium and vanadium may be man's most cutting-edge battery technology for many years to come.
I already like FLPC because they conduct lithium exploration, but the fact that they've chosen to incorporate exploration for vanadium as well shows that they are ahead of most exploration companies when it comes to searching for the materials of TOMORROW...not just of today.
FLPC also has 4 out of 5 short term indicators on barchart.com saying "buy". A lot of people rely on barchart.com to decide when to buy into penny companies, so that alone may generate some volume. Plus technical traders will likely have FLPC showing up on their scanners tonight and tomorrow morning because of the fact that FLPC just passed through their 20 day moving average.
That combined with my coverage (we've been seeing huge volume on most of my alerts lately) should generate some investor interest and possibly a large amount of activity.
Supplies are limited. Operators are standing by. But wait, there's more! If you act now...
Haha jk, but really there IS more.
FLPC is actually AMAZING for day trading as well! Check out the chart for Tuesday Sept 7th. Yesterday. FLPC opened at 32 cents and within minutes ran to 48 cents. That's a gain of 50% in minutes!!
So don't forget to look for day trading opportunities on FLPC tomorrow as well.
I'll send out a trading strategy and a little more info on FLPC tomorrow pre-market. Sneak preview...around 42 cents may be a good place for a stop loss.
Okay guys, I think we have a REALLY good setup here. Probably the best of the week. TODAY TAUGHT US TO USE CAUTION AND TRADE CAREFULLY NO MATTER HOW GOOD THE SETUP! So be careful, but let's get ready to book some profits on FLPC!
Talk to you manana,
